Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and wine or craft beer knowledge will elevate our bar offerings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively environment that values hospitality, creativity, and teamwork. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored properly following food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS; handle cash and credit card payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tools, glassware, and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including catering events or banquet settings. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Previous experience in fine dining establishments, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within a food service environment. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and beverage costing analysis.
