Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, organized, and clean. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn the art of bartending while working in a vibrant setting such as a nightclub, hotel, or restaurant. Duties Assist bartenders with daily operations by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Help prepare drinks during busy periods to ensure timely service for guests. Operate a POS system to process orders efficiently when needed. Support with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering services as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area. Requirements Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
