As we continue to expand, we are seeking dynamic, results-driven and customer-focused Sports Bar Marketing & Operations Lead to help us grow our brand and oversee the daily operations of our lively venue.

Job Overview:

Fanzo Sports Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartending Lead to oversee bar operations, ensure exceptional service, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, advanced mixology expertise , and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy sports bar environment.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision:

Lead and mentor the bartending team, ensuring top-tier customer service and efficiency. Train and onboard new bartenders, ensuring they meet Fanzo Sports Bar's standards. Assist in creating staff schedules and managing shift assignments. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Ensure all bartenders adhere to responsible alcohol service policies and state regulations.

Bartending, Mixology & Customer Experience:

Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, draft beers, and specialty drinks. Utilize mixology expertise to craft innovative, seasonal, and signature cocktails. Engage with guests to create an enjoyable and memorable experience. Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and flavor balance. Oversee and implement bar promotions, themed drink specials, and seasonal cocktails. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Inventory & Operations Management:

Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering liquor, beer, wine, and supplies. Maintain accurate records of sales, waste, and inventory usage. Ensure proper cash handling, POS transactions, and bar tab management. Assist with end-of-shift reports and financial reconciliations. Perform bar opening and closing duties, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and sanitization. Ensure compliance with TABC laws and responsible alcohol service policies. Address and prevent over-serving issues while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Conduct routine bar maintenance checks and report any equipment issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 4 + years of bartending experience , preferably in a leadership role. Advanced mixology skills and a deep knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment . Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures. TABC and Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
