Join Marriott on the Riverwalk as a Bartender, delivering exceptional service to business and leisure travelers in a fast-paced bar setting. You'll craft classic and signature cocktails, pour beer and wine, maintain bar cleanliness, manage cash and POS transactions, and adhere to responsible alcohol service standards. Collaborate with servers and culinary teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to brand standards Provide welcoming, attentive service and engage guests with menu knowledge and recommendations Verify IDs and follow all responsible alcohol service and safety regulations Operate POS system, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance receipts Set up, stock, and break down the bar; monitor and replenish inventory Maintain bar cleanliness, glassware, and equipment to health and safety standards Collaborate with servers and culinary team to support seamless service Address and resolve guest concerns professionally, escalating when needed Promote daily specials and Marriott offerings to enhance guest experience Follow Marriott policies, grooming standards, and participate in ongoing training Required Skills Mixology and cocktail preparation Beer and wine knowledge POS and cash-handling systems Responsible alcohol service (ID verification) Bar setup and inventory management Customer service and hospitality Knowledge of bar health and safety standards Glassware handling and bar sanitation Basic food pairing with beverages Conflict de-escalation with guests
