Job Description

About Us The Wallace Theater is a live entertainment venue in Levelland, Texas, hosting concerts, private events, community experiences, theatrical performances, and food & beverage experiences. Our goal is to create a welcoming, high-energy environment where guests can enjoy quality entertainment alongside thoughtful hospitality and service. Our Food & Beverage program currently supports concessions, bar service, catering, private events, and future dining experiences. We are building a team that values hospitality, flexibility, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Position Overview The Bartender supports the Wallace Theater's food and beverage experience by providing efficient, high-quality beverage service while maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-focused environment. This position may also assist with concessions, catering, event setup, and general venue operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Wallace Theater standards Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Assist with beverage preparation, stocking, setup, and breakdown Monitor guest consumption and follow all TABC guidelines Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately Assist with concessions, catering, and private event operations as needed Assist with preparation and service of menu items including sandwiches, salads, desserts, snacks, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages Support event setup and breakdown including tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and equipment Sweep, mop, sanitize, wash dishes, remove trash, and maintain clean work areas Work collaboratively with staff and management to support overall guest experience and event operations Qualifications Must possess current TABC Certification and Texas Food Handlers Certification, or be willing to obtain both independently prior to scheduled shifts Previous bartending, hospitality, restaurant, catering, or event experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Must undergo a background check Work Environment The Wallace Theater operates as a live entertainment venue with varying event schedules. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required based on event schedules.
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
