Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wines, and craft beers, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance menu offerings and delight guests' palates. Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and track sales to maximize profitability. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between food preparation and beverage service during busy shifts or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations related to sales and inventory. Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling practices, and proper sanitation standards in the food industry.
