Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Develop new beverage recipes and suggest menu pairings to enhance guest satisfaction Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during service periods such as fine dining or banquet events Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in bar management tasks when required Provide expert knowledge on wine selections, brewing processes, and cocktail mixology techniques to educate guests Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transaction management Proven bartending skills including cocktail creation, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and beverage recipe development Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively yet professional manner Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls; fine dining experience preferred Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the hospitality industry Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or large banquets Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately Experience with bar management responsibilities including inventory control and staff coordination is a plus Familiarity with brewing processes or craft beer offerings enhances guest engagement in specialty venues Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests feel valued!
