We are looking for a Head Bartender who is a creative force behind the bar, a genuine people person with our members, and a mentor to the team around them. You will lead a cocktail program that weaves Indian botanicals — cardamom, saffron, tamarind, kokum, rose — into world-class drinks, and help set the standard for what elevated bar service looks like in the DFW market. This role will start in August 2026 and will play a pivot role in launching the establishment. Key Responsibilities Design, execute and carry forward a signature cocktail menu blending contemporary technique with Indian-inspired botanicals and spice profiles. Develop seasonal menus in collaboration with the culinary team, including bespoke cocktails for member events and themed evenings. Continuously research, test, and refine new cocktail concepts, staying ahead of global trends while maintaining the brand's distinct identity. Operate and close the bar to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and TABC compliance. Manage stock, ordering, par levels, rotation, and wastage to meet pour cost targets. Deliver a warm, personalized guest experience that reflects our elite lounge positioning and builds lasting relationships with social members. Engage guests confidently in the story behind each cocktail — its ingredients, influences, and craft. Act as a brand ambassador during live events, private functions, and exclusive member evenings. Mentor and develop junior bartenders through hands-on coaching, structured training sessions, and bar SOPs. Lead by example during service — demonstrating precision, composure, and professionalism under pressure. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 4 years of professional bartending experience, with at least 2 years in a craft cocktail, upscale lounge, or fine dining environment. Proven experience creating and costing original cocktail recipes for a menu program. Familiarity with or genuine curiosity about Indian spices and botanicals — cardamom, saffron, tamarind, kokum, tulsi, rose — and how to build them into cocktails. Valid TABC Seller-Server Certification (or ability to obtain before start date) and Texas Food Handler Certification. Experience mentoring or training bar staff in a professional setting. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and the classic cocktail canon.
