We are looking to hire 2-4 service members. We are looking for bartenders and servers. We will be accepting applications for part time and full time employment. Golf tournaments, Club Events, Private Events and increased Food and Beverage activity await us. All new hires will be cross trained for multiple areas of club. Hourly wage description is an estimated range that includes potential tips earned. Who Should Apply Industry professionals familiar with hotels, country clubs, fine dining restaurants Students seeking part time employment Those seeking seasonal employment Future Private Event or Food and Beverage specialists Qualifications Is a minimum age of 18 years and TABC certified to serve alcohol Has and will maintain a Texas Food Handlers certification Has working knowledge of cocktails and wine service Duties and Responsibilities All applicants will be trained for multiple areas of the club Execute events as specified on banquet event orders Maintain working knowledge of Point of Sale System, a la Carte Dining Menus, Wine Lists and Beverage offerings Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival and/or seating Serve members and guests in efficient, attentive and courteous manner Work within a team environment to ensure an exemplary private dining experience Take member and guest orders and place orders with kitchen or bar Proper execution of POS system to ensure accurate communication between kitchen and service staff Follow proper steps of service and plate presentation Ensure correct billing procedures Maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance at all times in accordance with the established dress codes Maintain a clean and sanitary work area Set up, working and breaking down of banquets and private events Perform set up and breakdown tasks such as as removing linen, moving tables, chairs, busing glasses, dishes, silverware and re-setting rooms Prepare drinks when necessary Complete side duty tasks as assigned Effectively handle complaints and communicate them to manager or supervisor Personal Characteristics Able to work with a sense of urgency on behalf of the membership without disrupting the atmosphere of the dining room You are effortlessly polite, patient and courteous at all times Interact well and effectively communicate with members, guests and staff Maintain neat and professional appearance Able to follow directions from a supervisor Able to work fast and safely Possess good coordination and balance You are personable, responsible and willing to work in a team environment Willing to learn and be able to properly execute the POS system (Club Essentials)
