•2.7 Rockwall, TX Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Writing skills English High school diploma or GED Cash register TABC Certification Full Job Description Job Summary Rush Creek Yacht Club is seeking a personable, professional, and hospitality-focused Bartender to join our team. At Rush Creek, bartending is about much more than preparing drinks. As a private club, we strive to create an environment where our Members feel recognized, welcomed, and at home every time they walk through the door. Our Bartender is one of the most visible members of the Food & Beverage team and plays an important role in building relationships with our Members and their Guests. The ideal candidate enjoys getting to know people, remembering names and beverage preferences, anticipating needs, and creating the warm, personal service that distinguishes a private club from a traditional restaurant or bar. The Bartender is responsible for providing attentive and professional beverage service while preparing cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, and other beverages accurately and consistently. Just as importantly, this individual helps create the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that is an important part of the Rush Creek Yacht Club experience. The Member Experience Our expectation is simple: Members should feel like they belong here.

Our Bartender should:

Greet Members warmly and make an effort to learn and use their names. Learn Member beverage preferences and anticipate their needs whenever possible. Create genuine connections while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Recognize returning Members and provide consistent, personalized service. Welcome Members' Guests and help introduce them to the Rush Creek experience. Remain attentive and engaged even during slower periods. Handle Member requests and concerns professionally and discreetly. Help create an atmosphere where Members want to stay, socialize, and return. Understand that every interaction contributes to the overall Member experience. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive, and professional beverage service to Members and Guests. Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, and other beverages accurately and consistently. Follow established recipes, portion controls, and Club beverage standards. Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and properly stocked bar. Accurately enter orders and transactions into the Club's POS system. Complete all opening, closing, restocking, and side-work responsibilities. Monitor beverage inventory and communicate product needs to management. Follow all TABC regulations and responsible alcohol-service practices. Support beverage service for Club events, private functions, and sailing regattas. Work closely with the culinary and service teams to provide a seamless Member experience. Assist fellow team members when needed and contribute to a positive Club culture. Perform additional duties as requested by management. Typical Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20-30 hours per week .
