Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender & Opening Closing Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role combines the craft of mixology with the responsibility of managing daily bar functions, ensuring exceptional customer experiences from open to close. You will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable moments through expertly crafted beverages and outstanding service, while overseeing opening and closing procedures to maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory checks, and setting up or breaking down bar stations. Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for processing transactions, sales tracking, and reporting. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; handle food and beverage preparation responsibly. Oversee bar stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage inventory to minimize waste while maximizing profitability. Lead by example in a fast-paced environment, fostering teamwork among staff members during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Ensure all staff adhere to alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service protocols. Experience Proven experience as a bartender with strong mixology skills; fine dining or upscale hospitality experience is highly desirable. Previous management experience in bar or restaurant settings, including opening and closing duties. Familiarity with Toast POS systems for sales processing and reporting. Knowledge of beverage recipe development along with wine expertise and spirits knowledge. Experience working in diverse environments such as nightclubs, banquet halls, or catering events is a plus. Strong time management skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety awareness are essential. Pay:
$7.25 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
