Bonus based on performance Employee discounts We are actively seeking an experienced 2 bartender with open availability to work Day and Night Shifts. Big Tyme Billiards ideal candidate has the knowledge of mixed drinks, showcasing their ability to excel in fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong commitment to excellence service to keep customers happy.
Shifts:
Part-time shifts available, ranging from 1 to 3 shifts per week, with potential day shifts required.
Day Shift Hours:
10:30 am - 6:30 pm / Weekend Events as early as 6am/7am to 4:30 pm
Night Shift Hours:
Sunday through Wednesday 6pm to 12:30 pm / Thursday through Saturday 5:30 pm/6 pm to 3am Weekend Events as early as 4 pm to 3 am.
Skills:
Knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, wine, beer, and bar equipment is necessary The ability drive in a fast-paced environment with a great attitude is valuable asset. Knowledge of billiards, League and tournaments is a plus. ability to be attentive to customers on pool times, orders, cooking food and dishes. Ringing in orders before serving. Willing to waitress when needed.
Required:
Age requirement of 18 years + A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience Open availability to work any day or night, including weekend Events and Holidays. A valid TABC license and Food Managers certification is required. Knowledge of TABC Laws and Health codes. On- call Shift- Must be able to come in when call in. Basic math and cash-handling skills are required Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Ability to adapt to varied work schedules and hours based on business needs Physical capability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 lbs, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Politely greet customers, present beverage options, and engage with guests to enhance their experience Make recommendations and respond promptly to customer inquiries in a professional manner Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol purchases Take orders from serving staff or directly from customers Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes Maximize customer satisfaction by maintaining a high level of professionalism that encourages repeat visits Process transactions using the POS system and balance the cash register at the beginning of each shift Accurately itemize bills and secure payment as required Ensure cleanliness of glasses, bar equipment, and work areas Adhere to all TABC laws and company policies, health codes, safety, and hygiene standards. Drive for high sales and create a great customer experience.
