Featuring 32 natural hot spring pools, 16 WorldSprings-inspired pools, barrel saunas, cold dip pools, and much more, we are committed to creating a peaceful and rejuvenating sanctuary for our visitors. Zion Canyon Hot Springs will be a top-tier retreat that combines natural beauty and wellness. Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests by preparing and serving beverages with efficiency and professionalism. This position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of drink preparation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender ensures all bar areas are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with local alcohol regulations. Benefits Competitive hourly wage plus tips On-the-job training Employee discounts and access to resort amenities Opportunities for growth within the company Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain knowledge of the drink menu, ingredients, and bar offerings. Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age requirements are met. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, equipment, and storage. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift. Handle transactions accurately using the POS system and manage tabs. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and creating a positive atmosphere. Follow all alcohol service laws and safety guidelines. Monitor guest behavior and report any safety or security concerns to management. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 21 years or older. Previous bartending experience preferred. Must have or obtain a valid Utah alcohol server certification within 30 days of hire ( at the team member's expense ). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Essential Physical Functions Must be able to stand for prolonged periods behind the bar and service areas. Must be able to lift and carry kegs, cases, ice bins, and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds . Requires frequent reaching (including overhead), bending, twisting, and repetitive hand and wrist movements. Must be able to work in a loud, high-traffic hospitality environment. Visual acuity sufficient to identify guests, read labels, measure pours, and prepare beverages accurately. Auditory ability sufficient to hear guest orders and team communication. Standard Work Environment Conditions Employees may be required to work in environments that include: Indoor and outdoor resort settings Proximity to chlorine-treated pools, saltwater pools, and mineral hot springs pools Exposure to humidity, steam, moisture, and wet or slippery surfaces Variable temperatures, including heat from hot springs and outdoor sun exposure Exposure to cleaning agents, pool chemicals, and food service chemicals (role-dependent) High guest traffic, noise, and fast-paced service conditions How to
