Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional bar experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast; handle cash handling responsibilities efficiently. Develop and refine beverage recipes, showcasing creativity in mixology and beverage presentation. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy periods such as banquets or catering events. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption for safety. Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation techniques and POS procedures. Contribute to a lively atmosphere by promoting specials and engaging with guests to enhance their experience. Skills Knowledge of Toast POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Proven experience in fine dining settings, cocktail crafting, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development. Strong understanding of mixology techniques, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests promptly and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality. Food handling certification and food safety knowledge to ensure compliance with health standards. Previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience, including banquet or catering settings preferred. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
