Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or food pairings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and beverage storage in compliance with food safety standards. Manage cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and handle cashing out at the end of shifts. Develop innovative beverage recipes and stay current on industry trends such as mixology techniques and brewing methods. Assist in bar management duties when needed, including inventory control, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere during busy nights or events like banquets or nightclubs. Experience Previous bartending experience in fine dining establishments or nightlife venues is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine selection, and craft beer experience. Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with food service operations including food handling, catering events, banquet service, or retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with food safety standards and basic math skills for cash handling and beverage recipe development.
