Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events such as banquets or catering services. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and report any discrepancies to management. Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies regarding alcohol service. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet services, is advantageous. A passion for brewing and knowledge of various beverage types is desirable.
