Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to ensure smooth seating flow. Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash and credit transactions with precision. Serve food and drinks efficiently, upselling menu items like cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Prepare beverages with expertise in spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and beverage service standards; maintain cleanliness and proper handling of all drinks. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas including dining spaces, bar stations, kitchen prep areas, and dishwashing zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation or bussing tables as needed to support seamless restaurant operations. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing guest relations professionally, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses (WE WILL train you if have no experience :) Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or GENIUS systems. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to deliver outstanding customer service. Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts; experience with time management is essential. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation enhances your ability to upsell effectively. Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is key.
