Must have full Saturday/Sunday availability. Fighting Fish is an upscale, yet comfortable, Fish/Sushi/Japanese inspired restaurant in Scott's Addition. Goldwing is an evening hours high-end lounge. We have a small, close-knit staff, and we're looking for just the right person to join us. For both locations we will provide a (mostly) set schedule, though we do require flexibility and willingness to pick up/cover for your co-workers as needed for vacations, etc. Base pay for both positions is $2.13 + tips, we guarantee a minimum hourly pay of $18/ hour in case of the occasional slow lunch shift, and the typical hourly rate including tips averages out to $18-$35/ hour. The right candidate for us has at least two years of previous bar/serving experience in an upscale full service restaurant/bar. You must have a proven history of learning menus and knowledge of high end steps of service. We are of course happy to train you on the details of our Japanese and classic cocktail influenced menus. We value the ability to handle high-volume times while maintaining a friendly, calm demeanor. We're fortunate to have many "regular" guests, so relationship management and the ability to build a rapport with guests- while always maintaining professionalism, is very important as well.
