Job Summary Join our dynamic team For the Fall and Pickle International Food Festival on 10/17-10/18 as a Barback and Busser, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will support bartenders and servers by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring the venue runs smoothly. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently throughout service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards Buss tables promptly by clearing dishes, glassware, and trash to keep the venue tidy and inviting Support food preparation tasks such as assembling garnishes or basic plate setups when needed Handle manual tasks like heavy lifting of supplies or trash bins safely and effectively Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with safety guidelines Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cashiering or order processing when required Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs Uphold venue beverage service standards by adhering to alcohol service laws and safety protocols Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, bar, nightclub, or catering environments is highly preferred Knowledge of bar cleaning, food handling, and venue beverage service practices Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions Familiarity with food industry safety standards and alcohol service regulations Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Hospitality or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to work quickly in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering memorable experiences through energetic teamwork! $23.04 - $27.75 per hour
