Bartender

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet, or special event service needs. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous retail or food service experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for accurate cash handling, billing, and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Experience working in the food industry with an understanding of hospitality principles; catering or brewing experience is advantageous. Skilled in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Nightclub or banquet experience preferred; familiarity with serving at large events or in retail settings is beneficial.
