$18/hour plus tips About the Role Our bar program is rooted in Caribbean flavor and creativity, with a strong focus on rum-forward cocktails, fresh juices, house-made syrups, and cultural staples like sorrel. We're building a bar experience that feels vibrant, intentional, and true to Thingz From Yaad's energy. We're looking for a Bar Lead who is excited to be part of that vision someone who brings skill and creativity behind the bar and is ready to help set the standard, guide the team, and keep the bar running like clockwork during every shift. What You'll Do Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency Lead bar service during shifts, setting the pace and stepping in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly Train, coach, and support other bartenders on drink standards, recipes, and service flow Provide attentive, engaging service to bar guests while supporting servers with drink tickets Oversee bar inventory track stock levels, assist with ordering, and help minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service Follow and reinforce responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions Complete and oversee bar prep, opening, and closing duties Act as a point of contact between the bar team and management on nightly operations Contribute to a positive, team-oriented service environment What Success Looks Like Drinks are made consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner across the whole bar team Guests feel welcomed, engaged, and well taken care of at the bar Service flows smoothly, even during high-volume shifts The bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times Bar staff feel supported, coached, and clear on expectations You communicate clearly and support both FOH and BOH teams Who Thrives in This Role 3+ years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, including some experience leading, training, or mentoring other bartenders Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and spirits Comfort with (or excitement to learn) Caribbean-inspired bar programs — rum-forward cocktails, fresh juices, house-made syrups, and staples like sorrel Can multitask without losing attention to detail Friendly, professional, and confident behind the bar A natural team leader with strong communication skills Available evenings and weekends Join the Team If you're ready to bring your energy, skill, and leadership to a bar program that's proud of its roots, we'd love to hear from you.Pay:
