Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and eager to return. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet event, you will bring your passion for hospitality to every interaction, ensuring each guest leaves satisfied and eager for their next visit. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including specialty drinks and food pairings, to assist guests with selections. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Assist in setting up the bar area for service, restocking supplies as needed, and cleaning workstations at shift end. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous retail or food service experience is also valuable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; capable of performing cashiering functions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to promote drink specials and increase revenue. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and proper beverage preparation techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately. Familiarity with the food industry's standards for hospitality, brewing processes, catering setups, and nightclubbing environments.
