Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred) Previous experience with IEP development and progress monitoring Strong classroom management skills and adaptability Demonstrated ability to collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and related service staff Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver evidence-based instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate a diverse range of abilities and learning styles Conduct assessments to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed Communicate regularly with families to foster supportive relationships and encourage student growth Document student performance and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with educational teams to share strategies and ensure cohesive support for every student
