Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, while providing exceptional customer service in a lively and welcoming environment. Your expertise in beverage preparation, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will ensure guests have memorable experiences that keep them coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments; cocktail experience is essential. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, spirits, wine varieties, and brewing processes. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety standards preferred. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as food service or restaurant work is highly desirable. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and inventory management.
