Job Description
Overview Champlain Valley Riding Club is looking to add a few more members to our barn staff. We are a hunter jumper facility in Shelburne offering lessons, boarding and training, prioritizing community, horsemanship and fun. Looking for candidates with experience and confidence handling horses and performing regular barn chores who display a strong work ethic. Opportunity for discounted lessons available. Duties
- Typical barn chores (feeding, turnout and turn in, stall cleaning, general barn cleanliness)
- Work collaboratively with other staff members Qualifications
- Confidence handling horses of all temperaments
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
- Prior horseback riding experience, English/ hunter jumper discipline preferred
- Adaptable to changing situations
- Must be 17 years or older
