Are you passionate about beer? Fiddlehead Brewing Company is hiring a part time position in our tasting room. At least one weekend day, holidays and night availability is a requirement. We have 3-4 weekdays, and weekend shifts available with the opportunity to fill in or pickup more shifts as they become available. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips. Essential Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to the following Knowledge of Square POS system Provide excellent customer service. Ensuring registers are properly started, cashed out and money counted. Handle returns and purchasing transactions, which include cash handling and credit card transactions and operating cash registers. As well as filling out appropriate paperwork. Arrange / stock retail and beer inventory into attractive and functional displays. Maintaining comfort & cleanliness throughout the tasting room and restroom. Open to working on and off-site special events outside posted business hours if needed\Provide general tourist information. Work in a team environment and open to performing other duties as assigned by Tasting Room Manager. Able to be responsive and flexible at last minute requests . Relay low inventory needs to Tasting Room Manager. Project friendly and helpful manner at all times. Effectively describes brewery history, beer releases, suggests beer and sells beer to customers. Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries. Preps, fills and schedules online shipping orders for pickups. Attempt to limit problems related to customers' excessive drinking by following established procedures. Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age. Respectful of all customers and staff. Performs all other duties as expected.

Requirements:

Must be age 21 or older. Applicants must be available on weekends, holidays and evenings. The ability to move and lift kegs required. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time. Applicant must have a minimum of 1-2 years front of house service experience or retail experience. Able to work a flexible schedule Energetic, friendly, motivated, outgoing and hardworking Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision Communication and Interpersonal skills
