Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at The Farmhouse Tap & Grill in Williston. The ideal candidate will have a passion for local beer, cocktails, and wine and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender at Farmhouse Williston, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages at the bar and service well for the restaurant. We are looking for part or full time help on the weekends and during the week. This will be a cross trained role, all bartenders are trained to serve and are scheduled serving shifts as needed.
Pay:
This is a tipped position, base rate is $14.50 an hour plus tips. Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, completing side work, and other daily tasks. Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks and food. Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Complete necessary prep (juicing, making syrups, garnishes, batched cocktails, and any other prep projects needed for service) Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe eating and drinking environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff for service or special events as required. Stay updated on new drink trends and menu items to enhance the guest experience. Report directly to Bar Manager and General Manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a bar, food service, or hospitality is required. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails. Bar skills (shaking, stirring, how to properly pour beer, change kegs, wine service etc.) Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Cicerone Beer Server certification a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role. $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
