Hotel Bistro Bartender

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including processing payments and balancing registers at shift end. Support catering events or banquet functions as needed, delivering high-quality service in various hospitality settings. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like nightclub nights or private parties. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously without compromising quality. Demonstrated sales ability through upselling drinks or promoting specials to increase revenue. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for supporting various hospitality functions. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with a friendly attitude that makes every guest feel valued.
