Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Bar Server/Bartender, where your energy and expertise will create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage menus, including wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and craft beer selections Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and basic math calculations efficiently Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met during beverage preparation and serving; handle food items responsibly when applicable Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, tracking consumption, and communicating needs to management Create an inviting atmosphere by maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, setting up for service, and assisting with banquet or catering events when required Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and processing cash transactions is essential Strong background in mixology with cocktail experience; familiarity with beverage recipe development is a plus Experience working in fine dining environments or with craft beer, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and food handling procedures is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality industry experience that includes serving in banquet or catering settings is desirable Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling; understanding of food safety standards is required Join us to be part of a lively team where your enthusiasm for hospitality makes every guest feel special!
