Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating knowledge of drink recipes and presentation. Provide attentive table service to guests, taking orders accurately and delivering exceptional customer care. Process sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash and credit card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, bar area, and dining space following food safety protocols. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales; utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems when applicable. Buss tables promptly to ensure a tidy dining environment; assist with food handling, plating, and presentation as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours; support host/hostess duties when necessary. Skills Proven experience in food service roles such as grill cook, prep cook, bartender, or server within fast-paced or fine dining environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process sales transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates memorable guest experiences. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail in food prep and service. Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail creation, and drink presentation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and calculating bills or tips. Experience with reservation management tools like OpenTable is a plus. Strong communication skills paired with a positive attitude; ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities.
