We are looking for friendly, dependable, and outgoing individuals to join our team as Clubhouse Attendants / Bartenders . This is much more than just a bartending position. Our clubhouse staff are the front line of the golf operation and play an important role in creating a great experience for our members and guests. The Position As a Clubhouse Attendant / Bartender, you'll handle a variety of responsibilities throughout your shift. This includes checking in golfers, managing tee times, answering phones, processing transactions, bartending, serving food and beverages, and helping with the day-to-day operation of the clubhouse. We're looking for people who are friendly, dependable, can stay organized when things get busy, and are willing to jump in wherever they're needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Columbus Country Club operates seven days a week during the golf season, and employees should expect to work some weekend and holiday shifts. This is a year-round position. The clubhouse remains open on select days and times during the winter, although available hours are reduced compared with the golf season. Responsibilities Greet members and guests and provide friendly, helpful service Check golfers in for tee times and collect appropriate golf and cart fees Create, modify, and manage tee time reservations Answer incoming phone calls and assist with questions and reservations Process golf, cart, merchandise, food, and beverage transactions Bartend and serve beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages Prepare and serve simple food/menu items as needed Maintain an accurate cash drawer and process credit card transactions Assist golfers with questions about the course, leagues, tournaments, and club operations Monitor the tee sheet and help keep daily golf operations running smoothly Stock and organize the bar, coolers, and clubhouse supplies Maintain a clean and welcoming clubhouse and bar area Complete opening and/or closing procedures Assist with winter clubhouse operations during our limited off-season schedule Perform other clubhouse duties as needed What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old Must be available to work some weekends and holidays Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Dependable and punctual Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods Comfortable answering phones and using computers/POS systems Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions Willingness to learn basic golf operations and terminology Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous bartending, restaurant, customer service, retail, or golf course experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person Knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required What We Offer $8.00-$10.00 per hour + tips, depending on experience Flexible scheduling Golf privileges Casual golf course work environment Opportunity to learn multiple areas of golf and clubhouse operations Additional hours available during leagues, tournaments, and busy golf periods Year-round employment opportunity with reduced winter hours Apply Today Please submit your resume or a brief summary of your work experience through Indeed.
