Hospitality With Personality Anchor Lanes is more than a bowling alley. We are a neighborhood bar and pub, bowling center, game room, simulated golf venue and community gathering place located in the heart of Elkhart Lake. We are looking for a part-time Bartender who understands that great hospitality is about more than making drinks. We want someone who remembers people, welcomes new guests, has fun with customers and helps create the type of atmosphere that makes people want to come back. What You'll Do Welcome and engage guests Prepare and serve beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages Take food orders and coordinate with the kitchen Operate the POS system and accurately handle guest transactions Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked bar Monitor inventory and communicate stocking needs Provide responsible alcohol service Take and prepare beverage orders for bowlers, league members and other guests Provide efficient bar service during tournaments, parties, league nights, open bowling and special events Help create an upbeat, comfortable and professional guest experience Who We're Looking For The right person will be: Outgoing without being overbearing Gracious and customer-focused Dependable and trustworthy Comfortable talking with people of different ages and backgrounds Able to multitask during busy periods Attentive to cleanliness and detail A team player who is willing to help outside of traditional job boundaries Previous bartending or hospitality experience is helpful but not required for an exceptional candidate. Candidates must meet applicable Wisconsin requirements for alcohol service and licensing.
