Duties Follows established procedures in operating a full-service bar, mixing and serving a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock. Stocks bar, utensils, equipment and keeps work area clean and sanitary. Keeps record of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated. Performs other duties as assigned. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually. Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Standing for long period of time. Must be 18 years of age by date of appointment to meet state age requirements for position. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors. Uniforms and name tags are provided and required. Seven-day operation and shift will primarily be evenings and weekends. Shift may vary due to mission. Nights, weekends and holidays are required. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less).
