Weekend Bar Assistant

Overview Our bartenders are looking for an assistant on weekend nights to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, a desire to learn potential new skills, and a passion for mixology, ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience. As a Bar Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting each guest, describing menu options, taking orders, serving beverages, and providing top-notch hospitality to our patrons. Responsibilities Welcome everyone coming through our doors Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently. Comply with all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards. Requirements Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 20 years of age. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Previous bar assistant experience in a fine dining restaurant setting is preferred.
