Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and a vibrant atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations in compliance with food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and processing efficiently Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to excite our regular patrons and attract new guests Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment and ordering as needed Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies while managing multiple orders during busy hours Requirements Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs or catering environments; cocktail experience is essential Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations gracefully Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods effectively Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety standards preferred; experience with food service or restaurant operations is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
