Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems, Toast. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering personalized drink recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to process payments swiftly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times. Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs for catering or banquet events. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and complying with alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service to ensure seamless delivery of drinks alongside meals or special occasions. Skills Proficiency in POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining establishments. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Experience in food industry settings including restaurant experience, retail math, or banquet experience is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, sales totals, and inventory counts accurately. Previous experience working in hospitality environments is a plus.
