Job description: Company Overview Third Space Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery that operates a brewery and tap room in Milwaukee, a restaurant in Menomonee Falls, and two summer beer gardens. We have operated our brewery since 2016 and sell our products throughout the state of Wisconsin. In 2024 we opened the Third Space Innovation Brewhouse in Menomonee Falls, a growing suburb northwest of Milwaukee. The Innovation Brewhouse serves Third Space beer, a rotating list of cocktails and wines, and scratch-made food including handhelds, shareables, salads, and more. Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, motivated and customer service focused individual to join our team as a bartender at our restaurant & taproom in Menomonee Falls, Third Space Innovation Brewhouse. This position operates year-round. This position will require nights, weekends and minimal holidays. Qualifications 21+ years old Bartending license High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years in service industry (preferred) 2+ years experience in customer service (preferred) Availability for nights, weekends and some holidays Key Competencies Outstanding customer service skills Knowledge of POS systems (handheld ordering system) Familiarity with the Third Space brand and willingness to learn about craft beer and the craft beer industry Knowledge of mixed drinks and some cocktails Friendly attitude and composure in high stress & fast paced situations A team player that thrives in a team environment Essential Job Functions Perform bartending duties at Third Space Brewing's Innovation Brewhouse Welcoming guests into the space with a friendly greeting Always treat customers and your co-workers in a kind and respectful manner Pour beer, wine and make cocktails Help set up & break down bar and service area Serve customers efficiently Be an expert on Third Space beers and Brewhouse food and drink menu Maintain a clean and safe environment for co-workers and customers Check IDs to confirm patrons are +21 years of age Required to lift up and change 55-lb kegs and required to move kegs 165 lbs Closing out customer tabs and cash handling as needed Ability to interface with POS software (handheld ordering system) Non-Essential Job Functions Keep a clean and organized work environment Stock inventory and merchandise as needed (including shirts, glasses, to-go beer, and growlers) Organizing/filing essential paperwork Accurate record keeping Working remote beer-service related events as required Assisting with large in-house events as well as general large reservations Job Conditions Restaurant & Brewery environment Indoor space with additional outdoor patio seating Required to be on your feet for 5-9 hours per shift Occasionally work both inside and outside Standard bar & restaurant conditions (i.e. wet floors, cold storage, etc) Benefits Beer Allocation (21+) Employee Discounts Flexible schedule Paid training At-Will Statement We look forward to developing our relationship with you and hope you view this opportunity as a chance to have a long-term positive impact on our business.
