We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type :
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Key Responsibilities:
Stocks the bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records. Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management. Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager. Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. Maintains accountability for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes the Point of Sale system. Reviews the banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events. Serves catered parties from service or portable bars. Occasionally serves meals to guests. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledge/Skill:
Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates/Licenses:
Valid driver's license required. Valid New Berlin or Wisconsin bartender license required, or the ability to obtain one. Alcohol Awareness Training.
Environment/Noise:
Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions, including warm, cold, wet, and dry.
