Job Overview Westhaven Golf Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience at our clubhouse and bar areas. This role offers an opportunity to work within a prestigious golf club setting, providing excellent service during both daytime and evening hours. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all patrons. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service tailored to the hospitality and food industry standards Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food at events such as banquets or catering functions Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed Ensure compliance with all alcohol-serving laws and policies Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Support the setup and breakdown of bar areas for special events or club functions Requirements Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions (retail math) Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous Basic understanding of brewing, food industry operations, or retail math is beneficial Must be 21 years of age or older (if applicable by law) This position offers an engaging work environment within a respected golf club setting where professionalism and guest satisfaction are paramount.
