Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service so our patrons have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. if you enjoy mixing and serving drinks, meeting new people, and working in a fast-paced environment!

Compensation:

$8 hourly plus tips

Responsibilities:

Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point of sale system Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management. Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant

Qualifications:

Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members We prefer some experience working in the food service industry About Company The Four Seasons Island Resort and its amenities include a delightful 9-hole golf course, salon and spa, indoor saltwater swimming pool, tennis court, and much more.
