Job Description

Open Hand - Kitchen Tavern Social | Portage, WI Open Hand is looking for an outgoing, dependable bartender who enjoys taking care of people and wants to help us build a welcoming neighborhood bar and restaurant. We're looking for someone who can make a great drink, but personality, attitude, and hospitality matter just as much as experience. What You'll Do Prepare beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks Provide friendly, attentive service and get to know our regulars Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar Handle POS transactions accurately Work alongside servers and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly Follow responsible alcohol-service practices Help create an atmosphere where guests actually want to stay and come back What We're Looking For Positive, friendly, and supportive attitude Comfortable talking with and engaging guests Reliable and able to work independently Clean and organized Willing to help coworkers when needed Able to stay composed when things get busy Bartending experience preferred, but we'll consider the right person with strong hospitality experience
Pay:
$14-$16/hour + tips, based on experience Primarily evening shifts. Friday and Saturday availability is important. We're building a polished but comfortable place—not a stuffy one.
