For that reason, we have Club Pub's where members and non-members can relax, eat, drink and socialize. As a Club Pub Team Member, you are responsible for creating a safe and memorable experience for members and guests in the Club Pub. This is not a behind the scenes service position - you are on the front-line having fun and connecting with your team, members and guests. Our Club Pub is designed to create social connections, give members the opportunity to make friends and be profitable. You make relationships with people you see every day, while providing best of class service via aggressive hospitality. You have an opportunity to let your personality shine and grow within the WAC. You must be 18 years or older to apply. Daily Operations Display a member first attitude by not only being raving fans of WAC, but also for creating raving fans; we are all responsible for attracting and retaining members. Use smiles, names and eye contact when greeting every member and guest. Mix, pour and serve all drinks correctly. Follow all ServSafe guidelines while handling, preparing and serving food and beverages. Leave positive first and last impressions with all members and guests. Build relationships with members and guests who use the Club Pub. Efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks and challenging situations that may arise. Maintain cleanliness of Club Pub during shift. Attend Club Pub meetings. Be available for regular communication with team members and Club Pub Team Lead. Team Catch members and Team Members doing things right and hand out WAC Bucks. Participate in 90-day and ongoing Team Member evaluations. Pursue ongoing personal and professional development and share what you learn. Sub or cover for Team Members who are sick or on vacation. Look for ways to help other departments. Be a team player. Safety Know the Safety Plan and Emergency Action Plan. Follow all insurance, liability and incident report procedures. Report broken equipment and building concerns immediately to GM and Maintenance department. Own and immediately resolve problems to ensure member and guest safety. Maintain current city bartending license. Serve drinks responsibly - check ID's and do not over serve. Financial Process accurate payments for all food and beverages. Replenish stock of bar items and communicate to Team Lead when low on items. Accurately clock in and out according to scheduled shifts. Income Generation Effectively communicate promotions, programs and events which leads to member participation. Up-serve our members and guests by offering additional services of interest at point-of-sale. Programming Participate in the planning and promotion of special events. Participate in community organizations and positive social media to actively promote club. Attend a variety of the club classes/activities, providing recommendations to members. Be aware of club-specific schedule changes, website content and upcoming events. New Member Integration & Retention Welcome and connect with new members and guests. Encourage and integrate new members and guests into the club via programs and activities. Be personally committed to fitness by actively going through retention program sessions. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol based on state requirements.
