Part-Time Schedule:
Evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Otherside Bar is looking for an outgoing, dependable bartender to join our team. We are a locally owned bar focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy great drinks, good music, pool, darts, karaoke, and special events. We're looking for someone who is friendly, confident behind the bar, and able to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment. The right person will take pride in keeping the bar clean, building relationships with regulars, and creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages Provide friendly, attentive service to every guest Check identification and follow all alcohol-service laws Accurately ring in every purchase and properly handle cash and card payments Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties Monitor inventory and promptly report low or missing products Promote daily specials, events, and featured products Help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment Work cooperatively with management and other team members
Qualifications:
Previous bartending or high-volume customer-service experience is preferred Must be at least 21 years old Must obtain TIPS certification within seven days of employment Dependable transportation and consistent attendance are required Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events Strong communication, multitasking, and cash-handling skills Ability to remain professional and composed during busy shifts Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds A friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests
