Job Description

HOTEL JACKSON

Jackson, Wyoming Bartender | Lunch & Dinner | Full-Time, Year-Round Competitive Hourly Rate + Tips Benefit Package + 401K

• Subsidized Employee Housing

• Ski Pass discount + Local Perks Who We Are Hotel Jackson is a boutique luxury hotel on the Town Square in Jackson, Wyoming. We are independently owned, personally operated, and deeply invested in this place. Hospitality here isn't transactional — it's an act of genuine connection. We believe in warmth, authenticity, expertise, and the kind of care that makes guests feel truly at home.

Our mission is simple:

We are here to host. That means anticipating needs, elevating every detail, and delivering impactful memorable moments. The Role We're hiring a Bartender who brings genuine craft and real hospitality to every shift. You're not just building drinks — you're setting the tone for the entire rooftop experience. Guests at Hotel Jackson are discerning. They notice when a cocktail is made with intention, when a recommendation comes from knowledge rather than guesswork, and when the person behind the bar is genuinely glad they're there. This is a role for someone who takes pride in the work — the recipes, the pours, the pace, and the people. What You'll Own Craft and consistency: prepare both classic and original cocktails to a precise standard, every service, every shift.

Guest connection:

engage guests with warmth and confidence — read the bar, make recommendations, and create an experience rather than just a transaction.

Menu fluency:

know the full cocktail and beverage program — ingredients, techniques, flavor profiles, and pairings with the tapas menu — so every suggestion is genuine.

Bar presentation:

plan and maintain a bar that is organized, visually sharp, and fully stocked throughout service.

Responsible service:

verify guest identification, comply with all alcohol service regulations, and exercise sound judgment throughout every shift.

Inventory discipline:

restock and replenish bar supplies and flag needs before they become problems.

Team integration:

work closely with servers, the kitchen, and support staff so the rooftop experience is seamless from the bar outward.

Compliance:

adhere to all food and beverage regulations and Hotel Jackson standards at all times. What We're Looking For Proven bartending experience in a high-touch, guest-facing environment; upscale or craft cocktail experience strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of cocktail technique — mixing, garnishing, balancing, and presenting drinks to a high standard.

Genuine interest in the craft:

you follow the industry, you have opinions about spirits, and you're always learning. Warm, articulate, and confident in conversation with discerning guests. Organized, disciplined, and reliable with bar inventory and setup.

Compliance-minded:

you take responsible alcohol service seriously. Knowledge of a second language is a plus. Relevant bartending or TIPS certification preferred. Who Thrives Here Hotel Jackson is the right place for a bartender who sees the role as a craft worth mastering — not just a job to fill shifts. If you take pride in a well-built drink, a genuinely warm interaction, and a bar that runs like it should, this is your room. You'll thrive if you: Take real ownership of the bar program — the product, the pace, and the guest experience. Are as comfortable guiding a guest through the cocktail menu as you are executing a high-volume rush.

Care about standards:

you don't cut corners when it gets busy. You see training as an opportunity to grow, not something to get through. Thrive in a small, high-trust environment where your craft is visible every shift. This may not be the right fit if you: Prefer a high-volume bar environment where speed matters more than connection or craft. Are not interested in learning the food and beverage program in depth. Need heavy management structure to stay organized and on standard during service. Compensation & Benefits We know Jackson is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. We've built this package to make it work.
