Lunch Lounge Server/Bartender Caldera House brings together a team of like-minded individuals who chase the mountain lifestyle and are passionate about providing exceptional service to our members and guests. With our prime location, 'the House' (as we like to call it) offers eight luxury suites and Alpine club memberships, which gain access to our state of the art locker room, valet parking and concierge services, high-end spa facilities, and a plush apres-ski lounge, all at the foot of one of the best resort mountains in the world. In addition, Caldera House includes Southcable Cafe, Corsa restaurant, Shin Shin Sushi, and two sports shops for all visitors of the resort to enjoy. This is hybrid position where you will be expected to serve and make drinks for our members. This position is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving our members in a professional, friendly, efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our members have exceptional experiences. At all times, Servers/Bartenders are expected to be attentive to member's needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. The Alpine Lounger Server/Bartender must adhere to established health and safety standards, maintain the cleanliness, presentation and ambiance of the Alpine Lounge which is an integral part of the guests' experience. Essential Job Functions Greet and serve guests in the Alpine Lounge, take orders for food and drinks Make drinks using standard pours and according to the recipes Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and dining room guest Keep track of tabs and handle transactions accurately Check IDs and ensure they are of legal drinking age Ensure the bar is stocked sufficiently with drinks, mixers, ice and the cash drawer for the entirety of the shift Ensure the Alpine Lounge is stocked sufficiently with items needed for a successful shift: Dishware, napkins, condiments, etc. Recognize Alpine Club members and know when to apply their bill to their account Comply with all food and beverage regulations Know when a guest is intoxicated and who to alert to talk to them Keep an accurate log of any alcohol incidents in log book located at bar Be attentive, enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable about menu items Bus tables, remove dishes and disinfect tables Simultaneously keep the Alpine Lounge and the bar area tidy, assist all guests in a timely manner and maintain a positive, welcoming environment Follow opening and closing checklists, side work, ensuring the Alpine Lounge is maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness and organization Required Skills and Abilities 2 year of serving experience and bartending required Must be TIPS certified (Training for Intervention Procedures) or within 30 days of hire Proficient in English Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Ability to work quickly and with great accuracy and attention to detail Collaboration and dedication to team goals required Stand, lift heavy objects and move around behind a bar for the entirety of the shift Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and stay through the entirety of the Winter season Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly wage + tips EOS Bonus (eligibility requirements apply) Season Ski Pass Discounts Access to transferrable ski pass Free START Bus Pass 100% Reimbursement for a commuter START Bus Pass Free Employee Meal Discounts at onsite Retail & Restaurant outlets Ski/Snowboard Storage + Slope side
