Opportunity:
Bell Captain Supervise bellpersons, doorpersons and drivers as well as perform the daily responsibilities of these positions in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Potential Career Path Concierge/Front Office Manager
  • AGM•General Manager Essential Job Functions Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals and ensuring sufficient staffing to meet daily business demands. Maintain security of and accurate records for all guest room keys issued to bell and door staff. Accommodate guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner. Coordinate group luggage requirements. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment/supplies. Ensure that pertinent information is documented in the log book daily. Load and unload luggage carts. Tag and store luggage. Escort guests to hotel rooms. Provide an overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities. Make deliveries to guest rooms. Assist guest with room changes. Maintain list/brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc. Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as requested by management. Position Requirements High School diploma preferred. Previous experience working in a related function in a hotel required.
