Responsible for the ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public/common guest and employee areas throughout the resort including but not limited to: restrooms, lobby, elevators and hallways, indoor and outdoor resort common spaces, while following safe working habits and exceeding guest expectations. Routinely clean all tiles floors, baseboards, window blinds, ceiling fans, vents, doors, picture frames, pool chairs and tables, trash receptacles, stairwells, and maintain an adequate supply of pool towels at the pool. Previous Housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within the hospitality industry highly preferred. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; twist and bend during majority of working hours Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of the assigned shift. Adequate manual dexterity to regularly lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs. (i.e. trash, furniture, mattresses, towels, linens, vacuums, mops, brooms, mattresses, furniture, etc.) Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
