Through genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and anticipatory service, you will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from the moment they arrive. Bell Attendants are responsible for delivering exceptional service while serving as knowledgeable ambassadors of the property and destination.
Responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting and escorting guests to their accommodations while providing a personalized orientation to the hotel and its amenities. Transporting, handling, and storing guest luggage with the utmost care and efficiency. Opening doors and assisting guests and visitors entering and departing the property. Explaining guest room features, hotel services, dining options, wellness facilities, and other property offerings to enhance the guest experience. Providing knowledgeable recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and points of interest. Coordinating transportation arrangements, including taxis, airport transfers, rideshare services, and private transportation, while managing advance transportation requests. Assisting guests with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles and communicating valet and parking procedures. Anticipating guest needs, responding promptly to requests, and resolving concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a service-first mindset. Collaborating closely with Front Office, Valet, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Bell Attendants are expected to maintain company policies and procedures, protect confidential information, uphold quality standards, maintain a polished professional appearance, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for guests and fellow team members. A proactive attitude, sound judgment, and the ability to create meaningful guest connections are essential. This is a physically active role requiring standing and walking for extended periods, frequent movement throughout the property, and the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. Bell Attendants must be comfortable navigating stairs, ramps, uneven surfaces, and outdoor environments while maintaining a professional and attentive presence. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Previous experience in luxury hospitality, customer service, or guest relations is preferred, but not required. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. No supervisory experience or certifications required.
