Essential Responsibilities As a Starter/Ranger at Dunwoody Country Club, you will: Greet members by name upon arrival and departure, delivering prompt and courteous service to members and guests. Ensure pace of play on the golf course meets standards. Offer assistance to members and answer questions regarding the golf course and club information, addressing any concerns with a warm and professional demeanor. Maintain daily operations are properly attended to, stocked, and cleaned. Enforce Club rules (e.g., age limits, cart regulations). Spread hospitality, happiness, and goodwill among members and guests at Dunwoody. Greet members by name upon their arrival to the first tee. Communicate with Superintendent and Golf Professionals regarding restrictions, regulations, and information pertaining to the golf course or practice areas (i.e. newly sodded areas, course maintenance, etc.) Keep Golf Professionals informed about rate of course play. Ensure accuracy of tee sheet and collect pertinent information. Arrange players in proper starting order and assign appropriate tees. Supply players with scorecards, pencils, tees, fresh towels, water, etc. Advise players about course conditions. Observe pace of play; request slower playing groups to improve pace. Be aware of inclement weather and the procedures that apply. Assist Golf Services as needed. Attend golf staff meetings. Ability to list up to 60 lbs.
