Job Description

Description:
This position will be responsible for maintaining the clubhouse, selling of green fees and concessions, and general cleaning of the clubhouse. The position reports to the Clubhouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Serves the needs of customers who telephone or make a personal visit: schedules tee times, checks in golfers, rents golf carts, sells merchandise, food and beverages. Maintains bar and serves guests in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Sweeps and cleans golf carts, returns golf carts to correct parking spaces and stages carts. Starts golfers and keeps tee time schedule. Interacts with staff members and patrons using friendly customer service, answering questions, enforcing all facility policies, solving problems, overseeing services and cleanliness to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the clubhouse. Operates indoor golf simulators and prepares bays for golfers. Assist in golf tournament facilitation (team sign-ups, cart setting and paperwork) Monitors the weather and maintains close contact with the Course Superintendent, in the event of inclement weather and assists in clearing the course of golfers when directed. Performs other duties or assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned. Regular and reliable attendance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions according to established procedures. Ability to interact with the public in a positive manner and maintain good public relations. Use of computers and organizational skills. Knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf, preferred. Bartending experience preferred.
